Grizzly Plus is Brantling Ski Racing Association’s learn-to-race program, offering a six-week introduction to the fundamentals of ski racing for skiers ages 8 and older (or younger with coach approval). Designed for advanced-ability skiers who want to become stronger all-around skiers or are considering racing, this unsanctioned program focuses on building solid fundamentals, confidence on snow, and an introduction to alpine ski racing in a fun, supportive environment.

TRAINING Coaches work with each athlete to refine skiing skills while introducing more technical concepts and the fundamentals of ski racing. Training emphasizes proper technique, confidence on snow, and progression toward competitive racing. |

REQUIREMENTS Participants must be independent with all equipment, use/carry poles and independently ride Diann's Run and Franz' Run lift to the top. Skiers must have completed 1 year or equivalent in the Grizzlies program or have special coach permissions. |

SCHEDULE
In addition to the Saturday program/training, Grizzly+ participants will also train with the Brantling Ski Team Coaches on Tuesdays 6pm-8pm with the potential to train additional Tuesdays after the conclusion of the program.
