Caitlyn McKechney

Caitlyn McKechney, board president, is the parent of three ski racers. Having learned how to ski at Brantling, she is excited to be able to give her children the same opportunity.

Caitlyn resides in Marion, NY. Caitlyn attended Rochester Institute of Technology.  Out of college, Caitlyn began working for an eviction attorney and transitioned to property management in the City of Rochester. Caitlyn now works remotely as a project manager for a property management company based in Seattle, WA. Caitlyn also teaches Dance classes part-time at a local dance studio.

In her free time, Caitlyn and her family enjoy traveling and spending time boating, participating in water skiing and sports, and kayaking at their cottage in Port Bay.  

Vice President

Matt Schreiber

Growing up in Ontario, Matts early childhood was filled with the love for the outdoors. Matt enjoys fishing with his girls, deer hunting and bird dog hunting with his Brittanys.

After college, he spent his early professional career supporting the nuclear industry traveling across the country and abroad in the European and Asian markets.

Matt married his wife Patience in 2012 and had two beautiful girls Haley and Lilianna (Lily) in the years following.

Currently Matthew is a Manager for Constellation Energy at R.E. Ginna Nuclear Power Station in Ontario.

During the winter if 2019 Matt thought the family should get back outdoors for some winter fun. The girls began taking ski lessons at Brantling and quickly fell in love with it.  Later that season the girls participated in the Brantling fun run which boosted their confidence on the slopes and their interest in the team.

​Now a days, Matt and Patience can be found cheering on their two daughters and the rest of the Brantling team at every event.

Secretary

Jessica Brotsch

Jessica Brotsch, our secretary, is the parent to two skiers. Jessica grew up in Rochester, NY and learned to ski in college when her husband taught her. She spent 6 years living and skiing in Colorado but is happy to be be back in NY. Jessica's children have gone through Brantling's Koalas, Bears, Grizzlies programs and are now part of the race team. She loves watching her children grow as skiers. 

Jessica attended Keuka College and the University of Colorado. She started her career as an elementary and special education teacher but now she and her husband, Brian, run their family business, Knox Amusement. 

Treasurer

Russ VanTyle

Russ VanTyle, our treasurer, is the parent of two ski racers.  Russ grew up in Newark, NY and lives in Fairport, NY.  He learned to ski at Brantling.  His wife Melissa works in the Newark Central School District.  Russ is a Principal at Vizient; leading sales for a partnership between Mayo Clinic, Humanity Corp and Vizient.  Russ attended Providence College, achieved an MBA from St John Fisher University, and has a CMRP designation from the American Hospital Association.  Russ’ children entered ski racing through the Brantling Bears and Grizzlies programs.
