On Sunday, BSRA was proud to host a Flight Training Camp for U12 and U14 athletes from Brantling, Bristol, and Hunt Hollow. From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the mountain was buzzing with energy as racers worked through skill drill after skill drill in a focused, supportive training environment.
The day was designed to help athletes sharpen fundamentals, build confidence, and challenge themselves alongside racers from other programs. Coaches rotated groups through a variety of technical drills that emphasized balance, edge control, line choice, and speed management. The goal was simple: give racers meaningful repetitions and quality feedback that they can carry into the season ahead.
Despite the long training window, the athletes stayed engaged and motivated all day. Between drills, there were plenty of smiles, encouragement from teammates, and opportunities to make new friends. The mix of focused training and positive energy made for a productive and memorable experience for everyone involved.
We were also lucky to have great weather and strong collaboration between clubs, creating an atmosphere that truly reflected what ski racing is all about: development, teamwork, and a shared love of the sport.

This past weekend, Brantling Ski Racing Association officially kicked off the season with our annual early-season team fun trip, and it was the perfect way to start the year.
Racers and their families came together for a weekend filled with great skiing, shared meals, laughter, and time spent connecting both on and off the hill. While our athletes work hard all season long, this trip is always a reminder that ski racing is about more than gates and podiums. It’s about community, teamwork, and creating memories that last far beyond the winter.
For our racers, the trip offered a chance to shake off the early-season nerves, build confidence, and enjoy the sport they love in a relaxed, supportive environment. For families, it was an opportunity to reconnect with one another, meet new team members, and strengthen the bonds that make Brantling such a close-knit program.

With this great start behind us, we’re excited to head into training and competition energized, motivated, and ready for another fantastic year at Brantling.
